Illusion of Candyland

Lol, that title is a weird play on words.

This is my half of a trade with *IceValaxy, of her sugarsona Illusion. It took me forever to figure out what to draw, but I had a lot of fun drawing it once I figured it out.

I got inspired when, somehow, I got thinking about Hansel and Gretel . It totally makes sense to me tho – Vendetta ate some sugar, which unleashed Illusion on the world, aaaand she somehow stumbled across the Witch’s gingerbread house.

She looks so funny to me, the way she’s staring at the house, with it’s delicious-looking icing, and lifesavers (like they existed when the brothers Grimm wrote the story lmao), and peppermints, and gumdrops, and the candycane lamp post next to the cotton candy bush… Damn, now I want sugar

And I even incorporated her rainbow drool in!!

… I just had to make that witch green, didn’t I?
